Andrew Flowers
Andrew Flowers (born in 1985) is an American economist and community leader. He studied economics at the University of Chicago, then spent five years working at the Federal Reserve during and after the 2008 financial crisis and three years writing for data journalism site FiveThirtyEight.com.[1] More recently, he spent three years as an economist and writer for the Hiring Lab[2] at employment website Indeed.com. In January 2020, he resigned[3] in order to campaign full-time for the Massachusetts House of Representatives 8th Norfolk District, while also serving on the Finance Committee and Housing Partnership Committee for Walpole, Massachusetts. He lives in Walpole with his wife, Anna, who is the pastor at the United Church in Walpole, and their two children.
