Andrew S. Wright (born June 27, 1995) is an amateur baseball player currently competing at the NCAA collegiate level for the USC Trojans baseball team.[1] He attended Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego and graduated in the class of 2013 before entering the University of Southern California in the fall of 2013.

High school career[edit]

Wright played high school baseball at Cathedral Catholic High School where he helped the Dons to back-to-back CIF titles in 2011 & 2012. He was named a 2013 California All-Region First Team All-American. He also competed for the Milwaukee Brewers Area Code team and the Pro-Scout All-Star Team in 2012.

College career[edit]

In his first season of action for the Trojans, Wright batted .250 with one RBI while appearing in four games. His first career hit came on February 16 versus Northwestern University where he went 1-for-1 to drive in one run. Over the summer, he played for the Peninsula Oilers in the Alaska Baseball League and finished with a 1.80 earned run average.
