Personal Life[edit]
Andrew T. Lamas currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his B.A. in Humanities / Political Science from Davidson College, an M.A. (Economic Development / Africa) from the University of London's School of Oriental & African Studies, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.[1] He is a board member for the Herbert Marcuse Society. [2]

Lamas has worked at University of Pennsylvania since 1990, primarily within the Urban Studies department.[3]
Impact[edit]
Lamas was a founding board member of the Center for Community Self-Help[4], which has provided financial services and advocacy for underserved communities across America since 1980. [5]
His work has been published multiple times in the the Radical Philosophy Association's journal, Radical Philosophy Review.[6]
