Growing up with two younger sisters, Theodorou developed an early awareness of personal safety and protective responsibility. As a teenager, he gained hands-on business experience working in his father's souvenir business in central London, managing stock, staff, and day-to-day operations — an education in time management and people skills that shaped his later professional approach.

He holds a degree in Global Marketing and International Tourism, providing a commercial foundation for his subsequent technical and strategic work.

Career

Over the past 25+ years, Theodorou has worked across multiple UK industries including finance, technology, telecommunications, digital marketing, and property management. His early career included roles within the UK financial sector at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter (B2B client acquisition) and Ernst & Young (EY) (data security protocols). He later transitioned into technology with CTI Data Solutions, working on carrier-grade software, analytics, cloud-based interaction recording, and call logging solutions.

As an independent consultant, he served as lead consultant for The Harley Group, overseeing end-to-end project coordination and transforming business concepts into market-ready brands. Developed in collaboration with survivors, researchers, and healthcare professionals, the project prioritizes strict confidentiality, anonymity, and user safety. Due to the sensitive nature of this work and UK safeguarding requirements, many operational details remain private. An MVP has been built and is currently in testing.

Theodorou serves as the project's innovation architect and technical lead, working alongside his business partner Dr. Tara Quinn-Cirillo, who serves as the public-facing specialist and media representative.
