Andrew Thrasher is an American investor, blogger, Chartered Market Technician, and founder from Noblesville, Indiana. He works full-time as a Portfolio Manager for Financial Enhancement Group LLC, a Registered investment advisor firm located in Indiana as well as the founder of Thrasher Analytics LLC, an independent research firm.
In 2017, Andrew won the Charles H. Dow Award[1] for his research paper, Forecasting a Volatility Tsunami[2]. In his award-winning paper, Andrew provides analysis and historical data to support a method of forecasting when large spikes within the Volatility Index may take place and a methodology for tracking such forecasts in real-time.
