Andrew Tinpo Lee (born May 31, 1968) is a Chinese-American actor. He is best known for the role of Mr. Hsiao in the Disney+ original series Doogie Kameāloha, M.D.[2]

Early life[edit]

At the age of 1, Lee along with his family moved to the United States of America.[3] After completing his formal studies in high school, he then studied acting and writing at UCLA. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in English literature, he moved to New York City and began working as both a copywriter and an actor.[4]

Career[edit]

Lee's first acting role was in the 2001 short film, In the Eye, in which he played Richard. Since this he has made appearances on shows such as, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, General Hospital, Criminal Minds, Kidding, & Five Points. As of 2021, Lee has a recurring role on the Disney+ original series, Doogie Kameāloha, M.D..[5] Lee has been credited with acting in over 30 films.

Personal life[edit]

In 1998, Lee married psychologist, Jennifer Dormer.[8] They currently live in Manhattan Beach, California with their three children, one of whom is actress Peyton Elizabeth Lee.[9][10][11][12]
