Andrew Tweddle
Andrew Tweddle is currently Coroner for Durham County. The solicitor, based in Crook, County Durham, first became the county coroner in 1997.
He is married to Linda and has two children, until the death of his son in a car accident.
Tweddle also holds another role as Senior Vice-President of the Coroners Society of England and Wales.
On 20 November 2007, his son, 21-year-old Aidan Clifford Tweddle, was involved in a fatal car crash in Durham, in which an inquest in Newcastle recorded a verdict of accidental death.[1]
