Andrew van den Houten is an American film producer. He's most known for producing the Sundance Official Selection The Woman as well as the Independent Spirit Award Nominee In The Family.[1] [2][3]
Modernciné[edit]
In 2002, he founded Modernciné, a production company that focused on independently made horror films. Modernciné produced more than 20 films including The Woman, The Girl Next Door, All Cheerleaders Die, Jug Face, Offspring and Malignant.[4][5]
Hood River Entertainment[edit]
Following Modernciné, van den Houten founded Hood River Entertainment. A new production company focusing on a wider variety of independent feature films.[6][7]
