Andrey Alexandrovich Levin (Russian: Андре́й Алекса́ндрович Ле́вин; born 11 May 1982) is a Russian media producer, an active board member, and the current managing director of Comedy Club Production,[1] which produces the most popular light-entertainment Russian television content.

Career[edit]

In 2002, he graduated with honours from the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics, and in 2004, he earned a Master of Finance (Hons). He was a member of the University KVN team.[2]

From 2008 to 2011, he led 7 ART Company, which produced the TV series, Univer and The Interns.

In 2011, when 7 ART was acquired by Comedy Club Production, he became the producer at the new entity.

From 2015 to 2018,[3] he was the director general of Comedy Club Production.[4][5][6]

Since 2019, he has been serving as the managing director of Comedy Club Production.[7][8][9][10]

Under Andrey’s tenure, the Comedy Club Production projects have moved beyond TV. Eight Comedy Club festivals were held in Jūrmala, Sochi, Kazan and other primary venues. Two events as well as Stand Up Fest SPB 2K19 were held as part of the Formula 1 World Racing Champions. The Comedy club Digital marketing department was created, special projects such as #ComedyGames and #ComedyBar were launched and also two games Borodach and HB.Borsch were released for mobile devices.[11]

Andrey is a father of twins: daughter Varvara and son Boris, born on 22 May 2012.

Awards[edit]

In 2016, Levin received a TEFI award for the best TV sitcom series, The Interns.

The following year, he received another TEFI award for the best TV comedy program for Comedy Club (2017), and one more in 2018 for the best TV entertainment program, Dancing on TNT.

In 2017, he was named amongst the top 20 Russian media managers in the Top-1000 Russian Managers list presented by The Russian Managers Association and Kommersant Publishing House.[12]
