Andris Wasono (born 13 December 1976) is an Indonesian civil servant. He served as Assistant for Government and People's Welfare, and Regional Secretary of Bengkalis Regency starting on 1 September 2021.

Early life[edit]

Wasono was born on 13 December 1976 in Pekanbaru, Riau.[1]

Career[edit]

Wasono served as Head of the Governance and Regional Autonomy Section of the Bengkalis Regional Secretariat, and took part in managing the People's Representative Council (DPR) election in Bengkalis Regency in 2019.[2] On 1 September 2021, he was appointed first assistant of Government, People's Welfare, and Regional Secretary.[3] As Bengkalis region first assistant, he makes official visits and represents the Regent.

On 1 August 2023, Wasono collaborated with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology to carry out programs to improve regional education and teacher quality.[4] On 29 September, Wasono along with Rita Puspa Zakaria launched BPJS Health information service at RSUD Bengkalis as the selected hospital in Riau to implement the program.[5] On 20 October, he along with Bengkalis Regent Kasmarni inaugurated the opening of the Independence Islamic Boarding School Expo in 2023 as a form of National Santri Day celebration.[6] Wasono also read a speech regarding the role of Islamic boarding school students in the joint struggle to develop the country with the spirit of intellectual jihad in the era of digital transformation in realizing an advanced and prosperous Bengkalis Regency, as well as giving appreciation to the event committee, and added that the Bengkalis Regency government strongly supports the Pondok Pesantren Expo activities as a form of promotional effort for Islamic boarding school institutions in preserving Islamic knowledge.[6]

Personal life[edit]

Wasono is married to Bella Maulina Rizky, a civil servant. They had a daughter, Raina Najla Ananky (b. 16 September 2004), and two sons, Nandana Athillah (b. 24 September 2008), and Uwais Athaillah Ananky (b. 8 August 2017).[1] As of 2019, he resided in Senggoro, Bengkalis.[1]
