From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Andrius Genys (born April 4, 1984) is a popular military author who has written more than 15 books. He is a founder and editor of the Military-Today.com website.[1]

Career

Genys describes himself as one of the lucky few who had the opportunity to turn his lifelong interest into a profession.[1] From childhood, his interest in weapons, tanks, military vehicles and other military-related equipment developed. At some point, his interest transitioned from a hobby to a profession.

Since 2000, when the popularity of the internet was increasing, he began writing about weapon systems for various websites.

In 2006, he began his own work and founded the Military-Today.com website. Currently, it is one of the most popular military-related websites. It provides details about modern tanks, armored vehicles, warships, helicopters, aircraft, military trucks, specialized vehicles and small arms. Back in 2006, it was among the first websites of its kind to embed video clips on its pages. Although this concept isn't novel, at the time Andrius Genys wanted to improve the state of how weapon systems were presented online. Prior to sites like Military-Today, printed source books by Jane’s were the most reliable texts for information on modern weapons.[2]

Books

Andrius Genys has published a number of books on weapons, armored vehicles and other military-related equipment. The books are often published under the Military-Today brand. His books are available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and some other bookstores.
