Angel More
Angel More is a junior American open water swimmer and triathlete. Angel holds the world record for the youngest competitor in several events, such as climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro; Swim Around the Rock (3.5 mile swim around Alcatraz), San Francisco Bridge to Bridge (10K between the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges.) She completed her first Alcatraz Crossing at the age of 11 and now has close to 40 Alcatraz Crossings under her race belt. Her recent accomplishments[1] include:
- Pacific Grove F1 USA Junior Elite Draft legal Triathlon. 3rd place in 15 and under age group
- Folsom Triathlon, 2nd place (age group)
- Silver in females 39 and under at the Alcatraz Challenge
- 2nd place (age group) at Wildflower Olympic Triathlon
- 3rd place in the Auburn mini-tri
- 1st place in Half Moon Bay (age group)
- USA cycling race [Memorial Day Criterium Race] 2nd in Junior 13-14 Age Group Category Cat 4
Angel competes to benefit Children International, a nonprofit humanitarian organization that supports children and prepares youth to escape poverty traps. At the age of 13, Angel began a campaign to raise $100,000 dollars through her races for Children International to empower & educate girls worldwide.
