Angela Benting
Angela Jusayan Benting (born April 27, 1989) is a Filipino volleyball player who retired from her last team, PLDT Home Fibr. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Adamson University in both indoor and beach volleyball.
Early life
Benting was born and raised in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. She is the third daughter among the five children of Eduardo and Erlinda Benting. She attended preschool at L'Ecole and Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod for grade school and high school. She started playing soft volleyball in 2nd Grade. The following year, she followed her eldest and elder sisters' footsteps and became part of the school's volleyball team. Her first coach was Antonio Padios, who encouraged her love for the sport.
UAAP
Benting joined the Adamson Lady Falcons in 2006 for UAAP Season 69, under Coach Minerva Pante.
