Angelina Ngalula is the founder and chairperson of Bravo Group Limited[1], a logistics company for long distance trucks based in Tanzania. Beyond this, she is Chairperson of the Tanzania Private Sector Federation (TPSF)[3] and an influential public personality in Tanzania and Africa. Furthermore, she is the immediate last chairperson of the East African Business Council[4] where she championed regional ideas for the East African market, urging governments to promote East Africa as a single investment destination [5].

She attended amongst others the 14th African Union High Level Private Sector Forum in 2023[6] in Nairobi, Kenya where she called for all state parties under the leadership of the African Union to build a better continental trade area. Views

Ngalula has defended women's rights in Tanzania at several occasions in the past. She has been pointing out that traditional gender roles should not keep women from starting their own businesses[8] and she encourages women to follow her example being a succesful business woman herself.

Beyond her engagement for women's rights in Tanzania, she has been urging the Tanzanian government to address growing competition between foreign and local traders. In March 2025 she urged the government to implement regulations to "prevent foreign investors from operating in sectors designated for locals"[9]. The Tanzanian government did implement such regulations just a few months later[10]
