Angus Ridgway

Angus Ridgway is a public speaker, author, and entrepreneur in the area of personal flourishing and sustainable personal leadership. His recent best-selling book, *The Joy of Leadership* (John Wiley & Sons), presents the science behind the unique approach to personal leadership development that he and his partner, Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar from Harvard, have developed. It has been translated into seven languages.

Early Life and Education

He was born in Liverpool in 1966 and raised there. After completing his BSc degree in Pure Mathematics from Nottingham University, he went on to complete his MBA at INSEAD.

Career

During his 20-year career in management consulting, at McKinsey & Company, Angus led the Strategy Practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as the Firm’s Partner Leadership Development function globally.

In 2011 Angus co-founded Potentialife, together with Tal Ben-Shahar, to "bring the science of flourishing to the world".

Inside and outside of his role as CEO of Potentialife, Angus speaks widely on leadership-related topics.

Personal Life

Angus is married with two children and lives in Paris, France.
