Dewa Bimantoro (born October 19, 2001), known professionally as "Anh Jesslyn", is an Indonesian musician, disc jockey, and music producer. He made a song called "Vessel", which was first released in November 2019 on SoundCloud. [1]
Career
Dewa Bimantoro was born on 19 October 2001, in Jakarta, Indonesia. He is of Javanese and Betawi descent. He is the youngest of two siblings. Dewa was raised in East Jakarta in a middle-to-low neighborhood class. Despite his father being an employee, he never had a formal education and spent most of his time making music at home while being homeschooled.
In 2016, while growing up in Indonesia, Dewa began his career with social media, when he was 15 years old. He is obsessed with becoming a DJ and learning it. This is how he discovered Youtube. He also found and joined Instagram, in June 2016, when he was just 15 years old. This eventually led him to making music. Dewa, who at the time spoke only Indonesian, taught himself to speak English by watching YouTube videos and by listening to DJ like Martin Garrix, KSHMR, and Skrillex.
Dewa began making music through FL Studio in 2019, then released it to his SoundCloud and YouTube.
