Lee Brimmicombe-Wood reviewed AnimOuch! for Arcane magazine, rating it 7 out of 10 overall.[1] Brimmicombe-Wood comments that "AnimOuch! is a delightful toolbox of tricks, containing all a resourceful referee needs to run an anime-style campaign. If you're prepared to invest the time to develop the background material, it could work for you."[1]
