Mark Anthony Rodriguez (born September 24, 1996) also known as Anima777,[1] is an American singer, writer, videographer, music video director, and recording engineer. He is a former member of Mixed Prophetz from 2017 to 2019. He made his solo debut Album in 2020 with his digital single "Sulfurbutterfly" on September 12, 2020. His first album Light the Inner Fire was released on November 20, 2021. His name changed in 2020 from Kyrozensei transitioning to Anima777.
Early life[edit]
Anima777 was born in West Covina, California on September 24, 1996, He is of Mexican, indigenous descent. Rodriguez was born into a Mexican family which included him and two other siblings. He started writing raps in high school at 16-years old. He built his recording booth in his closet at the age of 21. He recorded his first song at the age of 21 years old.
Career[edit]
In 2017, Anima777, alongside former group members, decided to build a recording booth in his home where they created their first EP, Mixed Prophetz MIXTAPE. Soon after, Mixed Prophetz began performing gigs and live shows. In 2019, Anima777 disbanded, as well former group members began their solo careers and had a name change from Kyrozensei to Anima777[2], and soon after dropped his first single in September 12, 2020. Anima777 dropped his debut album LIGHTTHEINNERFIRE[3] working and soon after dropped KAMI [4]music video recorded by his friends Civilizedaliens and his friend Eddie.
Musical style and influences[edit]
Anima777 early inspirations were XXXTentacion, Ozzy Osbourne, The Doors, Nirvana, Three Days Grace and rock and heavy metal introduced in his childhood. Anima mixed, mastered and engineered, written[5] and performed on his own. His music style or genre is R&B, Indie, alternative and experimental.
