AnimaWings is an airline founded in 2020 by Memento Group, which also owns one of the most important tour-operators in Romania, Christian Tour, and Orange2Fly. It was supposed to operate initially a fleet of two Airbus A320 aircrafts leased from Orange2Fly and raise the number to 5 by 2025[1]. Later on, it was announced that Aegean Airlines bought 25% of Animawings[2] as Orange2Fly made its exit[3]. The first plane will be registered as YR-AGA and will be an Airbus A320 coming from Aegean Airlines, featuring 174 Economy seats[4]. AnimaWings will operate charter flights from and to Romania for some tour-operators, such as Christian Tour, TUI Travel Center, Dertour, Prestige Tours, Holiday Office, Aerotravel and Karpaten.[5]
Destinations
AnimaWings will operate flights to various destinations such as Antalya, Bodrum, Tenerife, Kos, Lefkada, Zakynthos, Hurghada and Enfidha from the major Romanian cities Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj, Iasi, Targu-Mures, Sibiu, Arad , Oradea , Craiova and Baia Mare[6]
