'Ankit Amarishkumar Trivedi (born 9 March 1981) is an Indian poet, writer, columnist, and emcee. He has authored more than 57 books and is recognized for his contributions to contemporary Gujarati literature and music. He is a columnist for the daily newspaper Divya Bhaskar and serves as the founder of the cultural festival Swarotsav’. For his literary service, he received the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar in 2016 and an honorary D.Lit. from Gujarat University in 2019.
Literary career
He began his literary career in the early 2000s, focusing on the modernization of traditional Gujarati poetic forms like the ghazal and geet. Between 2005 and 2026, he has been active in both written and spoken word performances. He served as the editor of Gazalvishwa from 2006 to 2007 and has also served as the editor (Tantri) of Shabdalay.
In journalism, he has been a columnist for Divya Bhaskar for 15 years, authoring the weekly columns "Offbeat" and "Jeevan na Hakaar ni Kavita". His book Krushnapurvak (2020) achieved significant distribution, with more than 18,000 copies reaching Gujarati households.

Music and filmography
He is a lyricist for Gujarati Sugam Sangeet and authored the song "Sat Surona Sarname", which has been widely used in Gujarati music since 2009. His work includes lyrics for nine audio albums, including the devotional album SHYAAM.
His cinematic work includes screenwriting and songwriting for Gujarati films such as Carry On Kesar (2017) and Pappa Tamne Nahi Samjaay (2017). He has also written six stage plays and a 260-episode television series.
