Dr. Ann L. Lee is an American Engineer and pharmaceutical executive. She is an elected member of the National Academy of Engineering and Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Cornell University
- Ph.D. in biochemical engineering/molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University
Career
Lee began her career in industry at Merck & Co. in vaccine development. She spent 16 years in different leadership roles including project leader for Liquid Pedvax HIB, Comvax, 2nd generation process Pneumovax, and co-project leader for Gardasil. She also served as Vice President, Chemical Technology and Engineering in the manufacturing division.[1] After Merck & Co., Lee served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Pharma Technical Development for RocheGenentech. She currently holds the title of Executive Vice President of Technical Operations for Juno Therapeutics.[2][3] She has over 35 scientific publications and multiple patents.[1]
