Anna Halkidis
Anna Halkidis is an American journalist currently working as an editor at Parents.com.[1]
Education[edit]
Halkidis graduated from Queens College, City University of New York, with a bachelor's degree in political science. She received a master's degree in journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York.[2]
Journalism career[edit]
Halkidis began her career more than a decade ago. She joined Parents.com in 2019 where she covers content that helps improve the life of families across America.[3] She helped produce the award-winning "Project Mental (Un)Load: We Need to Talk About the Unspoken Burdens of Parenthood",[4] which won a Folio Eddie Award in 2021.[5]
Prior to joining Parents.com, Halkidis worked at Long Island Pulse Magazine, a now defunct regional publication based in New York. There she covered lifestyle content, as well as public policy, including immigration.[6]

She appeared as a speaker at the Parenting Journalists Conference in 2021.[7]
Professional affiliations[edit]
In 2021, Halkidis became a member of the Women's Media Group, a New York-based nonprofit association of women who have achieved prominence in media.[8]
