Anne Hill (died 1852) was an American artist. She was first principal of the Philadelphia School of Design for Women, which became the Moore College of Art and Design.

Life[edit]

In 1850, she was hired to be first principal of the Philadelphia School of Design for Women.[1] She taught drawing.[2] In 1852, she drowned in a Hudson River steamboat explosion.[3][4]
