Anne Sacoolas
Anne Sacoolas née Anne Goodwin.[1] is the US diplomat's wife who is accused of utilizing diplomatic immunity to flee the United Kingdom after driving on the wrong side of the road in Northamptonshire and crashing into Harry Dunn, who died from the impact. [2][3] Sacoolas was driving a Volvo XC90 luxury SUV[4] on August 27, 2019, and reportedly had pulled out of RAF Croughton onto the wrong side of the road, hitting Harry Dunn, who later died in the hospital from the impact.[1][2]
Personal History
Anne Sacoolas is the daughter of Mary Jon S. Goodwin and Philip Gary Goodwin and has a sister, Susan, who served as Maid of Honor at her wedding.[1]. Anne Sacoolas is married to Johnathan Patrick Sacoolas, who was born in February 1976 in Santa Clara, California. Anne and Johnathan Sacoolas married in Fairfax, Virginia, on April 12, 2003[1]. The Sacoolases have two young children, one of whom is reported to have been in the vehicle when the car crashed[5]. They own a home in Fairfax County, Virginia, that was purchased in 2015 for $770,000[5]. The Sacoolases are reported to be Republicans[5]
