Anomaly X

Anomaly X is an upcoming 2017 American sci-fi/horror/thriller written and directed by Alexander Hoggard, co-produced and co-written by actor Alexander Sann Nishino. Currently in post-production, it is a short film with an 80s-tinged homage to the survivalism of Alien (film), the melancholy soul-searching of Frankenstein (1931 film), and the grotesque imagery of The Fly (1986 film).

The film is scheduled for completion in March 2017.

Synopsis

Set in the outskirts of suburbia, a humanoid creature of unknown origin is born. As it ventures through the night, killing unsuspecting pedestrians, it discovers an apartment complex to lay its nest. Which of the unsuspecting residents will survive the creature's inquisitive thirst for murder?
