Anoop Madhavan is an Indian health, safety and survival skills instructor and founder of the non-profit Survival Instincts.[1][2][3]
Career[edit]
Madhavan founded Survival Instincts in Chennai, India, a non-profit organization,[4] which provides combat, self defense, safety and survival training.[5][6][7]
During his career, Madhavan worked with organizations including the American Redcross, United States Army Corps of Engineers[8][9][10] and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and was involved in the establishment of India's National Security Guard.[11][12]
He is a regular instructor at the Officers Training Academy (OTA).[13][14] He also provides training to MARCOS.[15][8] He is a member of the Civil Air Patrol, US Air Force Auxiliary for Inland Search and Rescue.[16]
Madhavan works and conducts training exercises and seminars for India's Central Armed Police forces, and disaster management agencies including NDMA and NDRF.[17][18][10] He is also invited regularly by the CII.[19]
