Anshuman Sen
Anshuman Sen, b. is an Indian Marine engineer, who has been recognized for his expertise in Technical Ship Management. He started his career as a junior engineer onboard ocean going vessels for Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and rose to the rank of Chief Engineer for Varun Shipping Company before making a transition ashore as a Marine Technical Superintendent with stints in Dubai, Singapore & Cyprus where he is currently based. He developed a method to re-adjust the timing of Marine Auxiliary Engines in the event of crankshaft slippage which was published in the Institute Of Marine Engineers (India), Marine Engineers Review Journal Volume 15 Issue 5 in April 2021. His insightful analysis on the probable cause of the grounding of the vessel M.V. Ever Given in the Suez Canal was published in an article titled "What on earth happened to Ever Given" by The News International, which is Pakistan's largest English language newspaper. He was elected as a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) in 2021 for his contribution to the field of Marine engineering over the course of his 20+ year career & is a registered consultant with the International Maritime Organization,
