Antham is a 2016 Indian Telugu language film directed by GSSP Kalyan. It stars Charandeep and Rashmi Gautam. The film revolves around a man trying to save his wife from an unknown person who threatens to kidnap the woman.[1] The film was released on 7 July 2016.[2] It received generally unfavorable reviews and ratings.[1]

Reviews[edit]
Antham received unfavorable reviews and poor ratings from both fans and critics.[1] 123telugu gave the film 2.25 stars criticizing the lack of emotions and bad screenplay.[3] The Times of India gave the film 1 star concluding, "The plot, dialogues and screenplay had so much lag that you could step out of the theatre for a snack and not much would’ve happened".[4] Indiaglitz gave the film 1 star criticizing the direction, "The director thought of making a gripping thriller. He ended up making a glib one that fizzles out sooner than later".[5]
Promotion[edit]
The lead actors skipped the promotion as the actress was upset with the director as he used misleading content to promote the film. [6]
