Early Life
Born in one of the violent crime centers of the US, Chester, PA, living in section 8-type housing, raised by a single mother suffering from mental illness and abuse, his father was an alcoholic who physically abused his mother and left following his birth.
Gucciardi was diagnosed with serious / debilitating late-detection Lyme Disease at age 15, which took multiple rounds of steroids and antibiotics, crippled his mobility, led to arthritis, degeneration, and neurological problems. The right side of his face was paralyzed. A neurologist said the damage may be permanent and that he should 'reconsider' his goal of doing anything on video or film. Gucciardi re-trained his facial muscles to regain most of his mobility.
