Tony was Chief Financial Officer & Senior Vice President at Taghleef Industries, Inc. and Controller & Director-Financial Reporting at Ground Round Restaurants, Inc. from 1992 until July 1994 in his past career.[1]. Prior to joining Silgan Holdings Inc., Tony was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Applied Extrusion Technologies, Inc., or AET, a manufacturer of flexible packaging, since July 1996.

From May 2005 till March 2006, Tony was the Chief Operating Officer of Silgan Holdings Inc. He has been the Chief Executive Officer & Director since March 2006 and the President since August 2004[2]
