Lindsay won the 1986 Welsh Darts Trophy Youth are defeating from Welshman Steve King.
Lindsay reached the last 16 from Welsh of 1987 Winmau World Youth Masters are beating by Marcello Ryan of Spain and losing to Mark Day of England.
Lindsay to reaching his first Welshman quarter finalist of the 1988 are beating by Bryan Phillips of Canada, Gary Nicholson of England and but who losing to Paul Hudson of Englishman.
