Anthony Samson Andrews (born 30 January 1996) is an Indian Football Coach and manager who is currently working as the Assistant Coach of I-league side Gokulam Kerala FC. Anthony Andrews holds an AFC-B License Coaching Diploma from the Asian Football Confederation. Andrews has worked at various Indian clubs from Minerva Punjab to ARA FC. His highlight and rise came after winning the AIFC Coach of the year 2017 with Minerva Punjab FC.
Early Life
Andrews was born in Mumbai on 30 January 1996. Anthony Andrews, since a young age, held a high value and love for the game of football. He is a passionate supporter of the game. He loved playing football and represented various teams in District level tournaments, but unfortunately he had to stop playing football at a young age due to his ACL injury in his right knee, which ultimately led him to become a football coach.
Coaching Career
PIFA COLABA FC
Andrews started his coaching career in the year 2013 with the responsibility of coaching and teaching young aged children of U6, U8, U10 age category players of PIFA Colaba FC. After a year he was promoted to coach the youth system of PIFA Colaba FC, where he was given multiple coaching roles with various aged category teams. Assistant coach of U18 Youth I-league team and Assistant Coach of Senior Elite Team. He also managed to win the MDFA 3rd Division as an Assistant Coach of PIFA Colaba FC.
MINERVA PUNJAB FC

Andrews left PIFA and joined Minerva in the year 2017. He won the U13 Youth I-league and U15 Youth I-league with Minerva Punjab for the year 2017; also being runners up in the RFYS Junior Boys U15 Nationals. In 2017 Andrews won the AIFC coach of the year. After being part of the senior team coaching staff that won the I-league Andrews won the U18 Youth I-league with Minerva Punjab FC in the year 2018. Also won the 56th Principal Harbhajan Singh Memorial All India National Tournament.
ARA FC
Andrews had a good stint at ARA FC in Ahmedabad working as the assistant coach for the senior team in the I-league Qualifiers and Head coach of the U18 youth team.
REBELS FC
Andrews Joined Rebels in 2020 as the head coach of the senior team, which turned out to be the runners up of the KSFA B Division. They played 39 matches of which the team went unbeaten throughout the season only losing to HAL FC 1-0 in the final.
GOKULAM KERALA FC
Andrews joined Gokulam Kerala FC in 2021 as the Assistant Coach for the Womens Team that played the AFC Womens Club Championship in Jordan which was the team’s first Continental Outing and Asian Tournament. The team also won the Kerala Womens League in 2021-22. Andrews was promoted as the head coach of the Womens team for the new season of the IWL. Gokulam again became champions of India.
