From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Anti-Taiwan independence activists held the national flag of the Republic of China and photos of former President Lee Teng-hui in Japanese kimonos, protested in front of Lee Teng-hui's hotel when he visited the United States in Washington, D.C. ( Taken on October 20, 2005)

Anti-Taiwan independence sentiment refers to the sentiment of opposing "Taiwan independence" and supporting "China's reunification". People with anti-Taiwan independence sentiment are called "anti-Taiwan independence activists" or "communiformists". Those who support Taiwan independence are called Taiwan independence faction [zh] mainly Taiwan's pan-green and pro-Taiwan independence media (Minshi Company, Freedom Times, Sanli Company, etc.).

Because the Taiwan government opposes the one-China principle and moves towards the establishment of Taiwan independence, and cultural Taiwan independence, advocating for 'One China, One Taiwan' or 'Two Chinas', the two countries and the de-symmetrization route, cross-strait relations are increasingly tense. However, supporters of Taiwan independence oppose the existence of the Republic of China and advocate the replacement of the State of Taiwan and the establishment of a new constitution instead of using the Constitution of the Republic of China. At the same time, the government of the Republic of China is also facing the problem of national ideology. Some people think that whether Taiwan can be equal to China, the first step should be to eliminate disgust and even fear, suspicion, prejudice and hate speech.[1]

Some anti-Taiwan independence sentiment comes from Chinese nationalists, but some are those who only come from realistic considerations to deny Taiwan independence. The types of anti-Taiwan independence people are roughly divided into: pro-communist factions, Republic of China factions and those who oppose Taiwan independence according to the actual situation. At present, the main groups are Pan-Blue, Unification, Chinese Communist Party, Hong Kong establishment (including pro-communist groups) and pro-Kunmintang groups, Macao establishment, overseas pro-Chinese people, etc[2]., They oppose other Greater China separatist movements , and some of them also hold anti-American[3]and anti-Japanese sentiments[4][5][6][7][8] many of them are against Taiwan independence because they are opposed to the Democratic Progressive Party.

Define

Anti-Taiwan independence

Opposition to Taiwan independence is a discourse that advocates the one-China principle and opposes Taiwan's independence,[9] which is usually announced by national leaders, government agency spokespersons and party leaders, or used in the law. In the text. This discussion is also the position of the Communist Party of China and the ruling group,[10] but it is not the same as the anti-Taiwan independence sentiment.

Mainland China is the largest single cultural industry market in the three places on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and the Chinese world. For economic reasons, it is common for Taiwanese entertainers represented by actors, singers and directors to work in mainland China. It is not uncommon for individuals to be banned by mainland officials and boycotted by the people due to their political position. Such blocking and boycotts have also attracted the attention of public opinion on both sides of the Taiwan Straits. Zhang Huimei was briefly banned by mainland Chinese officials in 2000 for singing the national anthem of the Republic of China. After the anti-service trade movement in 2014, mainland netizens usually characterized Taiwanese artists who hold anti-service trade positions as "Taiwan independence".[11] This was triggered by the replacement of actors in the 2016 movie "No Other Love". During the incident, Phoenix held a voting event, and the survey showed that about 420,000 Chinese netizens chose to resolutely boycott the position of Taiwan independence artists.[12] Director Qu Youning was also characterized as "Taiwan independence" for supporting anti-service trade and other reasons. Since 2017, mainland netizens have boycotted and reported on him for several years. Finally, the map event of the TV series Dear, Love broke out in 2019. Fan Shiping, a Taiwanese scholar, described netizens' boycott of Taiwanese artists involved in the issue of Taiwan independence as a "class struggle" method, that is, "hanging signs, wearing hats, and hitting sticks" .[13]

Do not support Taiwan independence[edit]

Do NOT support Taiwan independence refers to the non-expression of opposition to Taiwan independence and the non-supporting position. It is also the United States and the Chinese Kuomintang.[14][15][16][17][18][19].The position. This unorthodox and independent position is attributed to hidden Taiwan independence by mainland China.

Anti-Taiwan[edit]

Main article: Anti-Taiwan

Opposition to Taiwan refers to the disgust and disgust of Taiwanese people and Taiwanese culture. Because Taiwan's fraud group has caused economic losses to many people around the world, Taiwan's reputation has been damaged.[20] In cross-strait relations, Luo Zhiqiang, a member of the Kuomintang's Taipei City Councilor, and Qiu Yi, a former legislator, believe that it is an extension of the anti-Taiwan independence sentiment of the Chinese people.[21][22] In the Internet era, all kinds of events involving the Taiwan issue and the national identity have appeared one after the time, which has triggered the antagonism of the people on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.[23]

On June 15, 2016, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council said that there was no anti-Taiwan sentiment in mainland China, only "anti-Taiwan independence".[24] At that time, some authors believed that the respect and good impression of the people of mainland China for Taiwan had been rapidly lost. With the anti-Taiwan independence, anti-Taiwan sentiment is rising day by day. Only anti-Taiwan independence and not anti-Taiwan may become empty political correctness in the future. However, Taiwan is not aware of the anti-Taiwan sentiment in mainland China.[23] In August 2019, after the map incident of the TV series Dear, Love, some authors believe that,[25] the mainland people's "bottom-up" of Qu Youning shows that the public opinion of Taiwan has long changed. The appeasement and accommodation of the mainland Chinese government to Taiwan cannot bridge the relationship between the people on both sides of the Taiwan Straits. In the future, it will be even more unable to control the rising anti-Taiwan independence (anti-Taiwan) sentiment of the mainland people.

Anti-Taiwan independence speech[edit]

On December 8, 2009, Wu Dunyi, then President of the Executive Yuan, said in an interview with the cross-strait issue, "Taiwan has no ability to unify its people, is unwilling to be unified, and there is no need for independence; when it comes to internal division, there is a crisis outside, only irresponsible people or idiots will feel that it should be an independent country." Then Wu Dunyi immediately took back the word "idiot" and apologized, saying that the word was contrary to his peaceful and harmonious view.[26]

On the eve of the presidential election of the Republic of China in 2000, Zhu Rongji, then Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, said: "If anyone dares to make Taiwan's independence, you will not have a good end."[27]

In February 2014, Wu Rongyuan, the convenor of the Cross-Strait Peace and Development Forum, criticized the syllabus: "The view of history of concentric circles, the historical view of the imperial people, and the historical view of Taiwan independence are all aimed at deliberately avoiding the jure and historical facts that both sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to one China."[28]

In July 2015, Yu Muming, chairman of the New Party, criticized on Facebook: "Before the founding of the Republic of Taiwan, Taiwan was Chinese territory; Taiwan independence activists who do not love China should leave China."[29]

In August 2015, Huang Zhixian criticized the anti-curricular students as "illegal Taiwan independence baby soldiers" on Facebook.[30] In the same month, Qiu Yi of the Chinese Kuomintang criticized: "Tsai Ing-wen is the successor of Lee Teng-hui's Taiwan independence line."[31]

On November 23, 2015, Huang An alleged that Zhou Ziyu was: "Take the passport of Taiwan, hold the national flag of the Republic of China, and recognize Japan as your own father",[32] resulting in the Zhou Ziyu's national flag incident. At that time, he happened to encounter the 2016 presidential election of the Republic of China. At that time, he unanimously supported Zhou Ziyu in the Republic of China regardless of party. Flag. Subsequently, there was a Facebook incident of mainland Chinese netizens, mainly targeting the green Facebook homepage, and a large number of comments were posted.

In May 2016, Zhang Cheng, a member of the Party of the Republic of China, was criticized in an interview with China Review News Agency: "The efforts of the Taiwan independence forces are to become a part of Japan."[33]

In June 2016, Wang Xiaobo, the convenor of the fine-tuning case of Taiwan's high school curriculum outline, criticized: "The 98 curriculum is a thorough Japanese imperial democratic idea, with the purpose of de-Sinicization and moving towards cultural Taiwan independence.[34] Cultural Taiwan independence is that the Democratic Progressive Party is cooperating with the United States to fool the people."[35]

In July 2016, in the Taoyuan car burning incident, Qiu Yi criticized: "The driver surnamed Su is a freak who was successfully brainwashed by Taiwan independence."[36]

In August 2016, the Supreme People's Procuratorate of the People's Republic of China and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League released the film "Beware of the Color Revolution" on Weibo,[37] claiming that "Tibet independence, Xinjiang independence, Hong Kong independence, Taiwan independence, as well as dissimith leaders, desperate lawyers and other Western agents are destroying China's domestic Stability and harmony.[38]

In October 2016, Huang Zhixian criticized on Facebook: "The basic doctrine of Taiwan independence is based on the Japanese imperial people".[39] In the same month, Xinhua News Agency, the official media of the People's Republic of China, published the Diagnostic Statement on a New Type of Monotumor, which criticizes the power of the times.[40]

In November 2016, Cai Zhengyuan of the Kuomintang criticized: "Taiwan independence activists are all accomplices in avoiding military service."[41]

In December 2016, the official media Global Times of the People's Republic of China criticized: "A few Taiwan independence activists should be arrested and come to the mainland to prison."[42]

In January 2017, Wang Zaishi, the former vice president of the former Hai Association, criticized: "How long can Taiwan independence be arrogant?"[43]

On April 16, 2017, Qiu Yi criticized on Facebook: "The beheaded of Hachida and a statue was immediately caused by the condemnation of Taiwan independence thieves and rice worms."[44]

On the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in 2017, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, warned "Taiwan independence": "Terre division is never allowed."

On September 2, 2017, Xu Linong published an open letter entitled "The Truth of the 99-Year-Old Man", explaining the reason why he has no longer been anti-communist for more than 10 years and is committed to "promoting unification". The letter pointed out that since Deng Xiaoping promoted the "reform and opening up", mainland China has completely abandoned communism and explored and found an effective plan for governing the country - socialism with Chinese characteristics. The letter lists the actions and achievements of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and believes that the thoughts and actions of mainland China today are fully in line with the principle of normal national development and are also beneficial to both sides of the Taiwan Straits. The reasons for anti-communism in those years have long ceased to exist. Regarding "promoting unification", the letter believes that unification is the goal that the Constitution of the Republic of China has always pursued. The slogans of "counterattacking the mainland", "refuting the land of the mainland" and "competing for the survival and development of the Republic of China" are all specific propositions for the pursuit of national unity. "Taiwan independence" should not only be subjectively (blood, culture). It is also impossible to be objectively (relative to the situation).[45][46]

On January 31, 2018, Zhang Yazhong, president of Sun Wen School and professor of the Department of Political Science of National Taiwan University, pointed out that in order to satisfy their narrow ideology, "Taiwan independence" elements did not hesitate to destroy the identity of the next generation of national identity in Taiwan. Nowadays, the DPP authorities are naive to use the method of 'go to the history of China' to make the next generation feel completely strange and alienated from the Chinese view of history. It's too naive.[47]

On July 3, 2021, Zhu Fenglian, spokesman of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said that since the Democratic Progressive Party came to power, it has refused to recognize the "1992 Consensus", unilaterally undermined the common political foundation of the two sides of the Straits, relied on external forces, incited cross-strait confrontation, manipulated the "anti-China hatred of China", and sought "Taiwan independence" division, leading to tension and turbulence in cross-strait relations, serious It damages the vital interests of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, and seriously damages the fundamental interests of the Chinese nation. The Democratic Progressive Party is incompetent in governance, spreading rumors, suppressing dissidents, suppressing speech, deceiving the people, and manipulating public opinion, resulting in today's Taiwan, the spread of the epidemic, the superposition of water and drought, the shortage of energy, the pervasion of air pollution, the "pig" to Taiwan, the gangster chaos of the chaos, the power and money transactions, the continuous human disaster, the people's livelihood of the "green terror" is rampant, the people The road has caused anger and resentment.[48]
