Anti-aliasing filter
From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki
An anti-aliasing filter is a filter that is used to reduce the effects of aliasing. Aliasing occurs when signals are sampled at a rate that is too low. Anti-aliasing works by applying a low-pass filter, which will reduce the effect of high-frequency components.
