The Russian antifa movement grew in the post cold war with the growth of organized supporters in the country and because of Donbass war.[1] Industrialization in the region's 20th century was essential for the Soviets to win the World War II. [2] The antifa movement in the country was essential for Nazism to fall. [3] The Russian antifa movement is also persecuted by Putin at the beginning of his government. [4] Russian antifascism helped to strengthen American antifascism. [5] Russian antifa sectors were banned by the Russian government. [6] [7]
