Antigone & the King is a new musical written by Noah Gould & Micah Mooney.[1] It premiered January 30, 2020, at Grove City College, and ran through February 1, 2020.[2]
The show follows the story of Sophocles' ancient Greek tragedy Antigone.[2] The musical was written, produced, directed, and performed by students.[2] The production involved 26 total students, including a director, choreographer, costume/makeup designers, stage manager, nine cast members, three orchestra musicians, a house manager and two other student assistants.[2]
