Captain 1st rank Anton Valerievich Kuprin (born August 3, 1978) is a Russian Navy officer. He was the captain of the Russian cruiser Moskva, the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet.[2]
During the battle of Snake Island, Kuprin gave the order to shell the island.[3]
Ukrainian officials claim he was killed when Moskva was sunk during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.[4]
