Antranig Dereyan
An Armenian-American sportswriter and author who has covered major events, like the 2008 Summer Olympic Games and the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, 2006 and 2010 World Cups, along with the 2008 European Cup.
He toured with the Pope of Armenian on His pontifical visit to the United States in 2007. He also traveled the world covering major events, figures and issues concerning the Armenian nation and its people (diaspora).
Graduated with an M.S in Journalism from Quinnipiac University.
Graduated from Mercer County Community College with an A.A in Communications, where he appeared on MCTV-26 as an on-air talent in the fall of 2004. He also broadcasted the men's and women's home basketball games and one baseball game, being the only student in MCCC history to fill that role. In the spring of 2005 he went behind the camera and served as the technical director for all MCTV-26 in-house programming. On the print side of his student career, he served as the Sports Editor of the school newspaper, The College VOICE, during the 2004 fall and 2005 spring semesters.
