Edirisinghe Arachchillage Anuradha Subashini Edirisinghe (Sinhala: අනුරාධා එදිරිසිංහ; born 1 March 1992),[2] popularly known as Anuradha Edirisinghe, is a Sri Lankan actress known for her work in television dramas.[3] She is recognized for her performances in teledramas such as Garuda Muhurthaya, Giridevi, Sakarma, and Kolan Kuttama. Over the years, she has established herself as a versatile actress in the Sri Lankan television industry.
Early life and education
Anuradha Edirisinghe was born in Awissawella, Sri Lanka. She completed her primary education at Pahathgama Roman Catholic Junior School (Grade 1 to 5). She then attended Hanwella Rajasinghe Central College (Grade 6 to 11) and later continued her advanced level studies at Ehaliyagoda Central College.
Career
Edirisinghe began her acting career through television dramas and gradually gained recognition for her performances.[4] She became widely known for portraying notable characters such as Pusubi in Garuda Muhurthaya, Rupika in Giridevi, Deweni in Sakarma, and Hiruni in Kolan Kuttama Thattu Deke Iskole.[5]
She has appeared in numerous Sri Lankan teledramas including Uthum Pathum, Ahas Maliga, Monara Kirilli, Kolamba Api Awa, Uncle Sam, Mage Adara Awanaduwa, Wassanaaye Premaya, Eka Gei Minisun, Aththai Me Adare, Pahasara, Eka Diga Kathawak, Sooriya Neyo, Thuththiri, Chutte, Sanda Pini Wassa, Urumayaka Aragalaya, Rahe, Waluka, Rawana, Wes, Garuda Muhurthaya, Thodu, Daam, Giridevi, Bro, Mati Kadulu, Sakarma, Kolamba Italy, Nannaththara, Kunchanada, Kolan Kuttama, Akshi, Susum Rastiyaduwa, Main Character, and Patti Gedara.
In addition to television, she has also appeared in several music videos and short films. Her work extends to stage drama, advertising, and television hosting. She has performed in the stage play Yathuru Hilen and appeared in commercials for brands such as Arpico Mattress, Lux, Sunlight, Lanwa, and Kotagala Kahata. In 2019, she worked as a host for Hiru Top 10.[6]

Personal life
Anuradha Edirisinghe was born to Mahindarathne Edirisinghe and Ranjani Adikari. She has one sibling, Yahampath Edirisinghe. She is single and follows Buddhism. Her interests include watching movies and traveling.[8]
