Anzio Storci
Anizio Storci (born 1934) is an Italian businessman and inventor who is the founder of Storci s.p.A.[1]
Early life and family[edit]
Born in Ozzano Taro, Collecchio, Italy in 1934, Storci received his training in a technical institute located in Parma, Italy.[2]
Storci is married to Fernanda Rosati, whom he married in 1963, and has two children, Michele and Simone.[2]
Career[edit]
Storci started his career with Barilla in September 1949 as a workshop boy at the age of 15.[3]
After learning the trade, he moved to the technical department of the company where he would lead the department in later part of his career.[3]
In 1977, he along with five former Barilla technicians founded the Paramasei company.[3] There they designed Pnelmec with collaboration of Parmalat.[2] Two years later, he designed Paramasei machine for production of pasta.[2]
In 1991, he founded Storci s.p.A.[4]
Storci is also known for his innovations such as Premix which reduces mixing time and the Omnia which can make any type of pasta.[2][5]
