Life and career[edit]

Rashidi Alema Anzor, known as Anzor Alem, is a Congolese artist born on April 4, 2001 in Kisangani.[12][13] He is both a musician and an actor, and imposes himself as a rising figure on the Congolese scene.[14][15]In 2023, he started writing two self-produced titles, broadcast on listening platforms.[16][17] This opus confirms his talent and musical versatility.[10][18]

Alongside music, Anzor Alem discovers a passion for cinema. His natural charisma and his ability to embody complex characters make him noticed by Congolese directors.[19][20]

In 2022, he got his first major role in the film "Tozoom". This social drama plunges him into the difficult reality of life in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, allowing him to demonstrate his talent as an actor and to reach the public with his poignant interpretation.[4]

The same year, he continued with two other films: "Baby Boy of House" and "Ima" by Nils Tavernier.[21][22] These roles allow him to explore different cinematographic genres, from social drama to psychological thriller, confirming his versatility and potential as an actor.[11][23]
