Apelby Communications is a group of companies active worldwide. The group is based in Dusseldorf, where it is represented by Apelby GmbH.[1]The global group’s key activity is the provision of a wide range of ICT solutions. Since its establishment in 2005, Apelby Communications has grown rapidly in terms of call traffic through its services, in revenue, and in its expansion into important regions.[2]

2005 – Establishment of the company and acquisition of a telecommunications licence for Germany.
2008 – Entry onto the international wholesale market. International PoP opened in Frankfurt.
2007 – Start of provision of ICT services throughout the entire CEE region.
2008 – New investors enter the company and services on the CEE market are expanded.
2009 – Establishment of an office in Prague, PoP capacity in Frankfurt is doubled.
2010 – Expansion of the company and its voice services into Africa[5] and the Middle East.
2011 – Revenue and call traffic volume increases by more than 50%. A new POP is opened in London.
2012 – A new retail project focusing on the CEE region.
2013 - MVNO launched on the T-Mobile network. 1-billion-minute threshold reached. New projects in Europe and acquisition of a licence for the Czech Republic.
2014 – New customer system implemented.
2015 – Partnership with the TELES technology company.[6] Two-billion-minute threshold reached.
2016 – A new PoP in Hong Kong. Offices in Malaysia opened. Launch of SMS services.
2017 – Offices opened in Nigeria and Tanzania. Launch of new data services.
2018 – Offices opened in Croatia, Italy, Zambia and on Mauritius.
2019 – Offices opened in the USA and the UK.[7]
