Early life[edit]
Nichapalak Thongkham was born on May 23, 2002[2][3] at Ban Phe, Mueang Rayong, Rayong, Thailand. She graduated from Assumption College Rayong, Columba College and Srinakharinwirot University (Model Department). Currently, she is studying at the College of Social Communication Innovation from Srinakharinwirot University.
Career[edit]
Nichapalak Thongkham[4] is one of the 7 finalists of the 2015 Young Model contest. At the same time, she participated in the show The Face Thailand (Season 2) when she was 13 years old. At the time, she was one of the show's youngest contestants (and also the youngest contestant on all season of The Face worldwide).
Her is one of the most successful contestants entering the modeling industry. Her impressive performance, full of confidence, individuality and vitality, in the show The Face Thailand (Season 2) helped her become known to the public, and her receiver countless invitations from high-class catwalks and fashion shows such as: Chanel Fashion Show (Spring-Summer 2016 Ready-to-Wear) at Airport Rail Link, Makkasan Station, Elle Men Fashion Week (Nagara Brand)[5] , Zen Bangkok Fashion Runway (Sheranut Brand).[6] Today, Nichapalak has become a promising young star. Nichapalak's journey to shine is the dream of many girls her age.[7]
Then, she moved to acting in 2017 in her first two films: That Time... Not Forget (Template:Langx) and horror/thriller/drama The Promise (2017 Thai film); (Template:Langx - join with Bee Namthip, coach in show The Face Thailand (Season 2).
- She participated in her debut drama series That Time... Not Forget (Template:Langx) aka That Time... Unforgotten[8][9] produced by BEC-Tero Entertainment, broadcast channel is Channel 3 SD (Thailand) and Thai PBS.
- About The Promise (2017 Thai Film),[10] after many rounds of selection, young face Nichapalak Thongkham was chosen to star alongside senior Namthip Jongrachatawiboon in The Promise. In the film, she will play Boum's daughter (played by Namthip).
- Nichapalak Thongkham said[11]: she was very happy to be chosen to participate in the film, but was also worried because she herself is a "weak" person and "extremely afraid of ghosts". The actress recounted the creepy, gruesome experience while filming: "I'm really afraid of ghosts and I'm sure I've met a ghost once. From the first day of filming until the end, I prayed continuously. Every time I climb up a building, I have to carry a Buddha image with me. Besides being afraid of ghosts, I'm also afraid of heights.[12] There was a scene in the movie where I stood right at the edge of the floor. I couldn't act, even I can't cry out loud. Acting coach Ngor taught me how to compartmentalize my fear by making noise and focusing on it. I finally finished the scene."
2018, she participated in television series including: Love Song Love Series: Ja Ruk Reu Ra Jai,[13][14][15] Lost Father (Khun Por Jorm Sa),[16][17][18][19] and The Gifted[20][21]
After great successes through television shows and movies, most especially the drama in popular TV series in 2018, she became more and more famous to the public. Whenever Lilly Apichaya Thongkham or Lilly Nichapalak Thongkham is mentioned, people immediately think of the young girl who participated in the show The Face Thailand (Season 2), or the girl who played the 'cursed' role in the film The Promise (2017 Thai Film), or the 'bespectacled' girl in the film The Gifted (Thai TV Series - Part 1), etc.....
