Amir Khan is a former unified Light welterweight champion beating fighters such as Marcos Maidana Zab Judah and Paulie Malignaggi. He moved up to welterweight in 2013 after losing to Danny García and Lamont Peterson and remains undefeated beating fighters such as Devon Alexander and Luis Collazo, however he decided to move up to Middleweight to fight pound for pound king Canelo Álvarez, who brutally defeated him by knocking him clean out. He took a lay off for two years following the defeat with a broken hand. Meanwhile Terence Crawford became the Undisputed Light welterweight champion defeating fighters such as Viktor Postol and knocking out Julius Indongo to unify the division in the third round. He then moved to welterweight to challenge Jeff Horn for the WBO Title which he won via 9th round TKO. He successfully defended José Benavidez Jr. by knockout in the 12th round.
Rumours Circulated about a domesticate fight between Khan and Kell Brook but Amir got an other by Crawford’s camp Which he took, which was reportedly a pay cut compared to his last fight. This Terence Crawford’s 2nd Title defence who is a large favourite compared to Khan who has had two comeback fights since his last loss to Álvarez. His 1st fight against Phil Lo Greco he won by 1st round knockout in less than 50s and the second by Unanimous decision who he was knocked down by called Samuel Vargas.
