Synopsis[edit]
As the lockdown due to Covid-19 suddenly starts, two hotel boys Khomei and Tomba, the cook Chaoba have to stay in the hotel. Two transgenders also take shelter in the hotel. Chaoba advises Khomei and Tomba that transgenders are to be treated well as they are also human beings like them. On the 11th April, the state Govt. relaxes the curfew for a few hours on account of Easter Sunday and Manipuri New Year. Taking the advantage, Chaoba and his team gets ready to go to their respective villages on foot. The hotel owner has also given their wages for two months. During the journey the two boys realise that transgenders are also kind hearted people. A pharmacy is found opened in a town and Chaoba rushes to get some medicine for exhausted Khomei. Suddenly he realises that his wallet has been lost on the way. He runs back but his wallet has not been found anywhere. On the way back a young man gives Chaoba a lift but they have been arrested by the police as the man is involved in drugs. Chaoba has been released after severe interrogation. The pharmacist advises Chaoba that children should be sent to school and be taken back from workplace. Chaoba promises that he will let the boys go to school after the lockdown is over. At night they are again caught by some people taking them for thieves. The chairperson asks the people to keep the covid-19 protocol declared by the experts and not to indulge in mob justice. After reaching home, Khomei’s mother has decided to send Khomei to school when the lockdown is over. Tomba feels happy and excited to learn that he will go to school. Although the lockdown affects all, it has given the two poor boys a chance to go to school.
