AquaB

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

AquaB Nanobubble Innovations is a spin-out company from Chemical Engineering at University College Dublin.[1] It was founded in 2020 for commercializing the novel electrostriction nanobubble generation technology.[2][3][4][5][6]

During 2022-24, the initial business-development efforts for the company were supported by Hanan Itzkovitch as an Israeli-based consultant.[2] AquaB’s nanobubble generators produce bubbles with high concentrations and low energy consumption and minimal maintenance.[7][8][9] They can operate using solar power, which provides an efficient and passive method for generating nanobubbles.[10][11] As a platform technology, these generators can be applied in diverse markets,[12] including water treatment, PFAS removal, Dissolved-Air Flotation, oil and gas extraction, and fuel enhancement.[12][13][14] In November 2020, AquaB won the Water Award category of the IChemE Global Award. [1][3] In 2022, it also received a European Innovation Council Accelerator grant for developing and commercializing nanobubble-generation technology.[13][15][16]
