Plot[edit]

A plane is flying through a meteor shower. Inside is a bunch of college kids on their way to Arizona to investigate fossils for a class project. The characters are Professor Mugford, Chandra Weaver, Deke, Sean Pachowski, Trina, and Kelly. "Chandra" goes to talk to the pilot "Sean", When a meteor slams in the ground near by and causes the plane to crash. "Deke" wakes up, panics, jumps out of the plane, and leaves everybody behind. Everyone else starts to wake up and evacuate. They escape just in time before the plane explodes. When Deke realizes that he has been a douche, Tries to act like he was thrown out of the plane. They then walk to go try and find help while being watched by the giant spiders.

They found an old cabin to stay there for shelter. Kelly takes a bath while Trina helps her and Deke continues to be annoying. Then, Deke goes outside for a walk. Moses Cobb (the owner of the cabin) catches Deke spying on the girls. Then he threatens the group for trespassing. Moses brings the group out to the barn where he shows the group the corpse of one of the spiders. The professor doesn't believe its real. Moses then brings everyone into the main house but, Makes the professor stay out in the barn. Chandra can't sleep because, Kelly and Trina will not be quiet. Moses sees the spider and tries to shoot it, Thinking it was the spider from the barn. Thinking it was the spider from the barn, He shoots the corpse. The professor then takes a look at this thing and realizes its real.

The next morning, Moses tells Sean that he thinks the meteor crash woke up the spiders that have been living underground. He and Sean then go visit the crash site themselves and get there to find there is a big hole in the ground. Sean and Moses go into the cave and then Sean goes back to get a flashlight and then returns to find that Moses is being attacked by one of the spiders. Sean goes back to the house to go get everyone so they can escape. Deke goes for the truck but, The spiders attack. They pull him out of the truck and tear him in half. The rest of the group then go back inside and the spiders try to get in but, They fight them off. Chandra stabs one of them in the eye and it leaves. The truck is totaled so they can't leave.

Later, The group reinforces the house until help arrives. Sean digs a gasoline trench around the house. Sean then goes and sits on the roof to keep lookout. Chandra then visits him with some coffee. The spiders then attack and Sean is planning on using a chainsaw he got earlier with the spider on the roof. The spiders kicks the chainsaw out of his hand so, Sean blows it up with Dynamite. One of the spiders breaks into the house and the professor pushes Kelly into it so it takes her.

The next morning, The group heads out to the cave to go rescue her. Sean, Trina, and Chandra all go into the cave while the professor waits outside but, Hes quickly eaten by the spiders. The group then finds the main chamber where the queen is laying her eggs. They find Kelly and Moses. Moses wakes up screaming with baby spiders crawling out of him. This wakes up the other spiders and so the group has to fight them off. Then group then escapes the cave. The military is there to kill off the spiders.
