Aran World

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Aran World is an Italian company active in the design, production, and distribution of kitchens, known for its emphasis on innovative design concepts. In 2001, Masco Corporation, a leading American company in the production of home and building products, made the strategic decision to expand into Europe [1]. It acquired and consolidated all previously owned companies into a single entity named Aran World. The American company brought changes in organizational, administrative, and production aspects. However, just four years later, in 2005, Masco agreed to sell Aran World to the Rastelli family; the company operates now under the brands rastelli and Aran Cucine. [2].

As of 2023, it is ranked in the top 10 companies by revenue in the Abruzzo region, Italy.[3] as well as the largest of the Teramo area. It is situated in Atri (Teramo) and employs over 350 staff members [4]. The company is featured in numerous design magazines and newspapers, renowned for the inherent value of its designs created by international architects such as Stefano Boeri[5], Makio Hasuike[6], and Karim Rashid [7]

Over the past few years, the market for contract furniture has emerged as a favored and lucrative avenue for Italian companies, enticing companies to adopt this operational approach. Aran was one of the first to establish a specialized division to execute contract furniture projects globally. [8]. Over 60% of the products produced by Aran World in Italy are dedicated to export. [9]. For instance, Aran World designed and crafted the interiors of buildings such as 432 Park Avenue[10], 1 Wall Street[11]
