Arcadia Roots are a British Rock Band formed in November 2015 in Worcestershire, England.The current line-up consists of Dave Small (Vocals/Drums/Djembe/Cajon) and Tom Callinswood (Guitar/Effects/Cigar-box) together with Danny Gauden (Resonator Guitar/Effects and Joshua Terry (Bass).

Arcadia Roots were formed after former Naked Remedy members Dave Small and Tom Callinswood together with Daves's Drifter bandmate Danny Gauden joined with bassist Josh Terry and female vocalist Maddie Abbotts together found themselves playing together regularly at local jam sessions, the five discovered that they could improvise and invent music together for hours. Much of their reputation has been built on the strength and spontaneity of their live show. They supported Deborah Bonham on her 2016 tour at Bewdley Worcestershire[1] In July 2017 they won the Final of the Pilton Party [2][3] auditions in front of Glastonbury Festival founder and organiser Michael Eavis and therefore supported Bastille and Declan McKenna at the (sold out) Pilton party 2017 [4] in September 2017 After their appearance on the BBC Introducing Stage at Lakefest 2017 they was asked to play the main Abbey stage in 2018 [5]

BBC Sessions[edit]

Arcadia Roots have appeared on BBC Introducing with Andrew Marston and had a BBC Introducing session transmitted which was recorded at the 2016 Hay Festival[6] They have also Appearing on The BBC Introducing Stage at Lakefest 2017 [7]

They have also been interviewed by Tammy Gooding on her BBC Hereford and Worcester radio Show when they were Introducing Artists of the week[8]

Studio recording[edit]

In 2016 they recorded a debut EP titled Primal Rhythm[9]

In August 2017 the band found time to record their self-titled EP recorded and mixed by Ian Hatton formally of The Bonham Band[10]
