Archaeology International is a peer-reviewed Open Access academic journal. The journal combines research from the UCL Institute of Archaeology activities with reports on both new and on-going projects, carried out by members of the Institute staff. The journal was established in 1997 and has been published by Ubiquity Press since 2012.
Abstracting and Indexing[edit]
Archaeology International is indexed by CrossRef, Jisc KB+, SHERPA RoMEO,[1] Directory of Open Access Journals,[2] EBSCOHost, Council for British Archaeology, De Gruyter Saur, OCLC, ProQuest, and the Royal Anthropological Institute.[3] The journal is also available for harvesting via OAI-PMH. To ensure permanency of all publications, this journal also utilises CLOCKSS, and LOCKSS archiving systems to create permanent archives for the purposes of preservation and restoration.
